The Town Council administers and manages the allotments at Cornwall Avenue. There are 48 plots and for the past few years have proved very popular as there are no vacant plots, with a rather long waiting list. The Peacehaven Mayor, Councillor Phil Howson is organising a number of events in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Support Centre (Macmillan Nurses) & local organisations. The Peacehaven & District Residents Association is an independent association that can trace its origins back over 80 years to the start of Peacehaven.

There are a number of regular bookings and events which take place at Community House, which include Markets, Cinema and NHS Blood sessions.

Now Peacehaven has its own Town Crier, it is important that the residents are aware that they can use his services when promoting an event

 

The offical opening of the skate park took place on Thursday 1st April 2010. There was a BMX demonstration and freshments available and following some welcome speeches the chairman of East Sussex County Council cut the ribbon to open the park.

As many residents will remember there used to be a Skate Park in the town, situated at Piddinghoe Avenue Sports Park.
Over 100 people both young and old, signed a petition to replace the facility and this work has now been completed.

The Information Office provides help and advice mainly to the local community. We are reception for the Town Council. Our main remit is to hire out our meeting rooms for functions ranging from Conferences to Flower Shows and offer information regarding other local interests as well as Council related subjects.

Although we are not a registered tourist information centre, we do have a wide range of tourist information which includes Bed and Breakfast details for the whole of the UK and also pamphlets for local and London attractions. We sell cinema tickets for the Peacehaven cinema and shows held in our theatre.
