Pevensey
 From Pevensey Castle there are some pretty views. The Martello Towers which were built along the coastline in the early 1800's can be seen to the South of the Castle, to the West you can see the beautiful South Downs and Eastbourne. There is a museum in Pevensey if you would like to find out more about the history. If you feel hungry there are some public houses and restaurants.
Long Man of Wilmington
Until recently the earliest record of Europe’s largest representation of the human form was in a drawing made by William Burrell when he visited Wilmington Priory, nestling under the steep slopes of Windover Hill, home of the 235 feet high Wilmington Giant. In 1993, however, a new drawing of the Long Man was discovered, made by surveyor, John Rowley, in 1710.

Lewes is the county town of East Sussex situated at the lowest crossing point of the River Ouse. In Lewes there is evidence of prehistoric Roman occupation however it is believed that the Saxons first developed Lewes.

 Herstmonceux is famous for its Castle and its medieval festival where history comes to life. The Observatory science centre is also found in Herstmonceux.

Battle
 One of the most famous events in the English history took place in Battle on the 14th October 1066. The alter of the Abbey was positioned by William I, this was in fact believed to be the spot in which Harold was killed. The Abbey gatehouse can be seen from the High Street. The Battle field and the Abbey ruins are worth a visit.

Arundel
 As Arundel is set in the South Downs, it provides breath taking views and is a great place to explore the countryside. Arundel is a peaceful charming town. Arundel Castle host several events throughout the year, one example is the Arundel Festival.
Arlington
 Arlington remains a small rural village. It is home to the Arlington Stadium, base of the Eastbourne Eagles speedway team. Banger racing also takes place here. Arlington caters for walkers as Arlington reservoir and Abbotts Wood, owned by the Forestry Commission are nearby.
Alfriston
The small village of Alfriston has many old buildings and a feel of ancient times. The main street offers shops and restaurants. Alfriston also has a festival which takes place every year during the week leading up to the August Bank Holiday Weekend.

Facilities include informal gardens, a scented rose garden, 18 hole putting green (open during the main season), bowling greens, two children's playgrounds (one with a summer paddling pool), and model boating lake. On the east side there is a large field for informal recreation.

Gildredge Park has a large field for informal sports and recreation, modern children's playground and café. There are also tennis courts and bowling greens.
