The club was founded in 1981 so we have just celebrated our 25th season in the Sussex bowling fraternity. Our present membership of 34 Ladies and 51 Gentlemen (mostly) is just about the average level over the 25 years of our existence.

Situated in Piddinghoe Avenue to the east of the Town is the Sports Park. This site houses the Peacehaven & Telscombe Football Club, Peacehaven & Telscombe Bowls Club and the Peacehaven Sports Pavillion. There are sports pitches that are also used for junior football and are available for hire during the Football season.

Throughout the year there are numerous events for all ages at indoor and outdoor locations. We are forming a working party to organise events for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and 2012 Olympics.

A meeting has been arranged for Tuesday 27 September at 10.00 am in the Anzac room for residents who wish to make suggestions on how Peacehaven can celebrate these events. Please contact Steve Keogh if you wish to attend the meeting.

Operated and managed by Lewes District Council the Leisure Centre has been much improved in recent years. The facilities now boast a large sports hall, air conditioned gym, squash courts, and a dance/excercise room.
