Peacehaven Town Council

The Meridian Centre opened in April 1979 to provide a main centre for the Town. The Mall has a variety of shops and other services including the Town Council Offices, Social Services and Library.

In 2003 the management of the Centre was taken over by new owners, the task of modernising the facilities was commenced in 2004, including some major improvements to the fabric of the Centre to come in line with the Disability Discrimination Act.

The Centre is the meeting place for Remembrance Day parades and the Town Carnival. In the past it has also been the venue for Jubilee Celebrations and the Town's Christmas Fair.
