The new Mayor of Peacehaven is Councillor Chris Ogden. He was elected to office on 4 May. Councillor Ogden has lived in Peacehaven for the last 27 years and continues to run two successful businesses in the Town.
. His aim is to continue to raise the profile of the Town of Peacehaven and unite the Council, local organisations and the community. He is also a member of the Peacehaven and Telscombe Chamber of Commerce. Councillor Ogden has been married to Lesley for 35 years, has a daughter and three grandchildren. His hobbies include horse riding and also classic cars and motorcycles. His personal charity this year is the Martlets Hospice who carry out tremendous work for the people of Peacehaven. Fundraising will take place throughout the year by way of raffles, quizzes, the Summer Fayre, and a Race Night to name but a few. These events will be advertised, together with more when planned, throughout the Town and surrounding areas.
